Knowing early whether a compound damages host cells avoids late surprises. We assess cytotoxicity on 2D cell lines, 3D human tissues and organoids, and measure hemolysis on red blood cells. The results give the concentration window in which a molecule stays safe, which is needed to interpret its activity and to plan in vivo doses.
