Many skin and scalp conditions involve an imbalance of the microbiota. Our in vitro models test how an active ingredient acts on the microorganisms involved, such as Cutibacterium acnes, Staphylococcus aureus or Malassezia, and how skin cells tolerate it. They fall into two families: microbiology powered assays and cellular assays.
